KOTO Sponsorship Programs
By becoming a KOTO trainee sponsor, you can play a major role
in changing a life forever. There are a number of ways you
can help:
1. Welfare Sponsorship Program
Our sponsors’ generosity pays for KOTO trainees’ allowances, housing and healthcare. By paying $90 a month you are investing in the future of a young person in Hanoi and giving them a chance in life - a chance that many of us take for granted.

2. Educational Sponsorship Program
The ESP fund enables KOTO to provide trainees with English Language classes, life skills instruction and counseling, career guidance and job search skills, in addition to their vocational hospitality training. By paying $100 a month, you are helping to give each trainee the opportunity of gaining career skills for life and opening the door to wider career options and further study after KOTO.
3. Corporate Sponsorship Program
The CSP fund is supported by local and international companies, schools and charitable organizations such as Rotary, Lions etc. The CSP supports a whole class of trainees as they progress through the KOTO program and enables KOTO to provide a safe physical work environment in well maintained facilities with modern equipment.
Support via CSP is essential for the long term sustainability of KOTO and its future growth.

Message from a KOTO sponsor

Hello my name is Geoff. I would
like to share with you my experiences as a KOTO sponsor. I
have been sponsoring since 2004. KOTO is a unique facility
and one that I am proud to be associated with.
I am indebted to the hard working teachers at KOTO, they transform lives for the better. I am also grateful for the vision of Mr Jimmy Pham (founder of KOTO), because without his compassion for the children of Vietnam, none of this would be possible.
The sponsorship is a direct investment in the future of the children of Vietnam, it helps to reduce the cycle of poverty, creates self respect and also protects vulnerable children from being exploited. The children who are chosen to be KOTO Trainees are very lucky, they have an extended family with their fellow trainees. They are cared for and trained to be employed in the hospitality industry.
Recently the entire KOTO Trainee group went on a field trip. It was great to see so many smiling faces and also sobering to know that this was the first time some of the trainees had been out of their own province. It is a credit to KOTO that they took all of the trainees away for a week. For me, this shows that it's not just about hard work, there is also room to be a child as well.
I am very proud of just how far my two trainees have come since they first started at KOTO. I am very happy that I have been a small part of what, should be for them a new journey in life.
